David Allen's bestselling book "Getting Things Done" published in 2002 is the premier reference guide for people seeking to improve their productivity, organization and time management skills. His philosophy of recording one's goals, actions, projects and responsibilities in a trusted external system is precisely the antidote for the age of knowledge work and its inherently nebulous framework. This episode investigates and addresses how clear planning, organization and execution catalyze health, well-being and presence alongside the habits promoted by all show guests. David's best practices belong with mindfulness, nutrition and community service crucial, in their ability to upgrade our effectiveness and encourage a life of fulfillment and satisfaction.

The Power of Presence

Archives Available on VoiceAmerica 7th Wave Channel

My show is about finding the common ground amongst all philosophies of personal growth: meditation, sports psychology, hypnosis, spirituality, nutrition and peak performance.

Learning to let go catalyzes higher levels of health, well-being and potential energy in the body, which supports higher levels of performance across all life’s areas. I will interview masters in hypnosis, life coaching, qigong, meditation, nutrition, time management, productivity and sexual alchemy.

John Hankey

John Hankey is a Medical Qigong Practitioner, Master Practitioner of NLP and Certified Hypnotherapist. He has studied Conscious Language, Focusing-oriented training, EFT, Reiki and Supreme Science’s Food Healing.

His hypnotherapy empowers people to overcome issue-specific stress such as test taking, fear of heights, flying or public speaking. Nutritional principles, mindfulness-based practices and pure speech lead to increasingly higher levels of enjoyment and fulfillment in life.

John received a B.S. in Mathematical and Computational Sciences from Stanford University, and a M.S. in Financial Economics from University of Oxford. From 2007-2009, John’s stress-filled days trading equity derivatives on Wall Street inspired him to switch tracks and become a coach focusing on mindfulness and holistic health.

He has helped students skyrocket their test scores, actors nail auditions, singers and athletes enhance their level of performance, and people of all walks of life overcome fears, phobias and procrastination.

There IS a systematic way to go from stressed out and overwhelmed to on-point and in “The Zone,” and it begins with health and well-being.
