First Lady Crisette is a native of Detroit and a graduate of Michigan State University where she majored in Public Affairs Management. She is married to Bishop Charles H. Ellis III, who is the Senior Pastor of Greater Grace Temple and the Presiding Prelate of the P.A.W. (Pentecostal Assemblies of the World). They have two children, Kiera and Charles IV. Lady Crisette is the Director of the Powerful Women of Purpose (PWP) Women’s ministry at Greater Grace Temple. Lady Crisette is also a successful entrepreneur with Mary Kay cosmetics. In November of 2002, she made history by becoming Michigan’s first and youngest African American National Sales Director in Mary Kay. Through her business she has earned numerous awards, earned cars, trips around the world as well as other substantial gifts. She is also the CEO of Affirmations by Crisette which is a lifestyle brand of affirmation empowerment tees and other products produced with a specific goal of encouraging and inspiring people to use their gifts and talents as well as to stay focused on fulfilling their divine purpose. As a wife, mother, First Lady and entrepreneur, she enjoys encouraging and sowing seeds of optimism into the lives of her family, church members, community and all that she comes in contact with.
