Dr. Wanda Vockeroth


Dr. Wanda Vockeroth graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. She worked in clinics in Grande Prairie, Alberta and Portage la Prairie, Manitoba before settling in Calgary with her husband in 1991. In 1993, she purchased the Elbow Valley Pet Hospital (now the Marda Loop Veterinary Clinic) where she has worked until recently.
She became interested in doing acupuncture in animals early in her career, and became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture in 1990. She then began to learn about other complementary modalities, and became certified in Veterinary Homeopathy in 1995. She has studied Veterinary Osteopathy, Craniosacral therapy, Chinese herbology, western herbology, and Bach flowers, and also advises clients on natural nutrition and supplementation. She also continues to practice conventional veterinary medicine, but employs complementary and non-invasive therapies where ever possible.
