Khaled Fattal

Khaled Fattal is founder & chairman of the MLi Group, (also known as for last two decades as the Multilingual Internet Group) https://mligrp.biz/ whose motto in recent years is: "CyberSecurity is No Longer the Keyword - Survivability in a Geo-Poli-Cyber™ threatened world is”. Under the MLi Group Survivability Strategies™ and Solutions, Fattal and his Group help businesses and governments mitigate the latest cyber & non-cyber threats especially Geo-Poli-Cyber™ threats whose motivations are political, ideological and ‘religious’ and which differ from financially motivated cyber-attacks. Key are the destruction/devastation motivated new breed of extremist, terrorist groups, and lone wolfs who are often directed or backed by not only enemies but presumed allies. Geo-Poli-Cyber™ attacks are often aimed to coerce or alter the political and economic directions of nations and organizations and which national and corporate cyber security strategies and solutions continue to fail to defend or mitigate. This new threat vector threatens not only corporate and national security, but their effective and competitive “Survivability”. MLi & Fattal have been involved in the global infrastructure of the Internet, its resiliency, stability and security since mid-90’s, championed and led in making it the Multilingual Internet it is today through international institutions and forums such as the UN, ITU, ICANN, IGF and may others. He is also author of the book titled “Survivability” which is scheduled for launch in September 2020, and which will be translated to many languages shortly after, including Chinese and Spanish. Fattal is also the creator and producer of “Era of the Unprecedented™” (EotU™) Investigative Program and VideoCast featuring University Screenings - Citizen Journalism - Interactive Debates & Live Streaming. One of the motivations behind Fattal creating EotU™ in 2017 was because “Democracy was/is Under Unprecedented Threat” with the model of creating local and global public debates and engagements about societies challenges and to offer new solutions and real hope moving forward. Fattal is frequently invited to keynote, speak and chair public and private expos, international conferences and events, interviewed on radio and TV, and writes regularly for online and print cyber, internet, political, cyber and defence publications. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, 1984 and an MBA from California state University at los Angeles, 1987.
