Malory Atkinson
Malory Atkinson is the co-founder and managing partner of Shear Structural, Georgia's only 100% women-owned structural engineering firm. Malory is responsible for marketing, business development, finance, and operations. Malory has her undergraduate degree from GA Tech and an MBA in Marketing from GA State. Malory supports, advocates, and volunteers with local community groups: Atlanta Bike Coalition, PEDS Atlanta, Sustainability Task Force at Camp Twin Lakes, Trees Atlanta, Atlanta Community Food Bank, and the Atlanta Beltline. She is a past Board Member of SMPS Atlanta and the Innovation & Tech Committee for the GA Chamber of Commerce. Malory serves on the Board of Advisors for the Urban Land Institute, on the Board of Directors for Poncey-Highland Neighborhood Assoc, as the chair of Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI) for ULI, as well as an UrbanPlan Facilitator for ULI Atlanta. She is the 2018 recipient of the Atlanta Business Chronicles Small Business Person of the Year Award.
