Nelson Ascencio
Nelson Ascencio is a television and film actor. He is mostly known for his run on Fox TV's Sketch comedy show "MadTV". Aside from acting, he has become an advocate for the elderly upon meeting Phyllis Ayman, whom he met while his father was on a short-term rehabilitation unit in a skilled nursing facility. His father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and more recently with lymphoma. He relocated to now call New York as his home base in order to help his elderly mother and to help care for his ailing father.
