Amy Staley, LCSW

Amy Staley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly two decades of experience, holding a master’s in social work from Boston University. Her career has been dedicated to helping those affected by trauma and navigating the mental health system. Amy has held various roles in her career, including direct practice, management, and leadership positions in different clinical settings such as community mental health, behavioral health hospitals, and educational institutions. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Social Work. Known for her innovative thinking, Amy challenges traditional mental health structures by applying a trauma-informed approach in both clinical care and community system analysis. Her unique combination of passion and creativity sets her apart. Collaborating with NAMI Arapahoe/Douglas Counties, Amy has spearheaded community survey projects that highlight the voices of youth, individuals, and families, shedding light on mental health challenges and available resources. She is committed to empowering communities through research and advocacy.
