The focus of Pet Panorama is to educate, share, and interact with Companion Pet Parents while exploring the realm of Holistic Pet Care and Husbandry. Our pet show will reveal the more natural approaches available to raising healthy pets so they can thrive and not just survive. The material and your participation will be organized and presented with different monthly topics along with four related weekly subtopics. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions directly and share your experiences too! We also encourage participation via Social Media and E-mail. Pet Panorama is broadcast live every Friday at 4 PM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel.
Dr. Julie Mayer
Dr. Julie Mayer has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 25 years and has dedicated most of her career to holistic medicine and rehabilitation. She was named one of "Chicago's Best Vets" by Chicago Magazine and received the 2010 Iams Eukanuba AARV award for excellence in the field of Veterinary Rehabilitation. Dr Julie is also on faculty at Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. Most recently, her business Integrative Veterinarian PLLC was chosen for the 2016 Scottsdale Small Business Excellence Award! Dr. Mayer is certified in veterinary acupuncture, chiropractic and canine rehabilitation. She has appeared on numerous news programs, radio shows, hosted webinars, published articles and co-authored a book. She is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, the Veterinary Botanical Medical Association, the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians, the American Canine Sports Medicine Association, the American Association of Veterinary Nutrition and many other veterinarian associations. Dr. Julie is an Advisory Board member of the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage. In addition, Dr Mayer is eligible for Board Certification in Canine Rehabilitation through the ACVSMR. Best of all, Dr Julie Mayer works to combine conventional and complimentary treatment modalities, providing the ultimate in an integrative healing experience for pets.
